Jack Wilshere’s contract situation at Arsenal has reportedly stalled in recent weeks so as it stands, the England international could leave the Emirates for nothing in the summer.
The gifted midfielder, valued at £16.2m by Transfermarkt, has had his well-documented fitness issues in the past but has featured heavily for the Gunners in the second half of the season.
That saw Wilshere regain his England place, only to pull out of both matches with injury and miss out on the opportunity to add to his tally of 34 Three Lions caps.

As much as Wilshere loves Arsenal, the contract stand-off means he must surely be considering a move away from the club where he broke through as a teenager and one prospect that stands out is a move to Everton.
Despite their summer spending spree, they have ended up with only one real creative force in Gylfi Sigurdsson and have struggled to make chances and score goals this season.
Wilshere would add a new dimension to a midfield that is currently well-stocked with holding midfielders but lacks invention from deep. Ross Barkley was supposed to provide that, before things turned sour between the Scouser and his boyhood club.
So we’re asking you; would Wilshere be a good signing for the Toffees? Let us know by voting in the poll below…
