As is the case with most things at Leeds United, Giuseppe’s Bellusci’s Whites future appears to have been shrouded in mystery for a while.
The Italian defender joined Empoli on loan at the start of the season after two seasons at Elland Road, and few supporters were sad to see the back of him. He has shown glimpses of his talent in Serie A, but it appears he will not be seen at Leeds again, with the Yorkshire Evening Post reporting that his contract was actually terminated shortly after he switched to his current temporary employers.
Paperwork released by the FA supposedly shows that his deal with the Championship club was cancelled by mutual consent just days after he joined Empoli, effectively confirming the end of his career with the club.
