Tottenham Hotspur’s striker crisis has gone from bad to worse this week after it was revealed that Heung-min Son would be out for the foreseeable future with a shock elbow injury, but it appears as if Jose Mourinho won’t dip into the youth setup for support this week.
What’s he said?
This comes as devastating news as the side have already had to cope with the absence of top goalscorer Harry Kane, who is also expected to most of what is left this season.
It effectively means that Spurs have no senior striker in their ranks, so it either means Lucas Moura has to step up as a centre-forward or any one of their other wingers following suit.

If Parrott was leading the line with the likes of Giovani Lo Celso, Steven Bergwijn and Lucas Moura surrounding him, then his chances of success will be increased as these players will be utilised in their natural positions rather than made into makeshift Kane replacements.
When did that happen?! Premier League experts will know which surprising clubs these stars once played for…
It’s a monumental game that Mourinho needs to win, but the Spurs defence are the ones that need to ensure there are no away goals conceded to give them every chance in Germany in a couple of weeks.
And in other news, Spurs have an unlikely HERO to thank for role in Steven Bergwijn signing…
