Alex Iwobi played the full 90 minutes as Everton recorded a 2-0 win over Watford on Tuesday night.
The victory saw the Toffees book their spot in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup as they bounced back from Saturday’s 3-2 loss at Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League.
Mason Holgate and Richarlison scored the goals for Marco Silva’s side, but a number of the Everton fans were pleased with what they saw from Iwobi on the night.
The 23-year-old, who arrived from Arsenal during the summer transfer window, has already scored in the EFL Cup this season against Lincoln City.
There was no goal for the Nigeria international against the Hornets, but according to WhoScored, he had two shots, completed five dribbles, won two tackles and also boasted a pass success rate of 75%.
