The Senegal international left Barcelona last season as La Blaugrana offloaded assets to secure the transfer of Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig. Faye can play in the centre of defence, and at left back, and has impressed during his time in France.

Birmingham are pushing for back-to-back promotions. Buoyed by substantial financial backing and Brady's star power, the Blues have been able to punch above their weight in the transfer market securing big names transfers for Kyogo Fuhurashi and Demarai Gray amongst others.
