Michail Antonio put West Ham ahead within the first 10 minutes against Liverpool. The hard working winger had brought down Alberto Moreno inside his own half, before sprinting the length of the pitch and finishing off a devastating counter attack.
The former Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday star had to wait a while for his chance in the first-team, but the recent injury crisis at the club has afforded the 26-year old a starting berth in place of Victor Moses.
Now, fans on Twitter have praised the ex-Southampton loan starlet for his incredible work rate to not only defend his own goal diligently, but track almost the length of the Upton Park pitch to nod home from close range.
However, question marks remain over whether he fouled Alberto Moreno in the build up, with some fans thinking he should have been awarded a free-kick initially.
Still, the Spaniard has attracted some criticism for his inability to get back.
